I recently had the opportunity to combine three of my favorite things into one fabulous collaboration with Thomas and Kammar!
A lot of fantastic jewelry, some delicious food and a splash of bubbly made for a great spring afternoon with some of my favorite lady friends.
As promised in my last post, I have more vibrant pics of the RIO themed 5th birthday party I planned for my son!
We fueled our energy for bouncing with a dessert table that featured custom RIO theme cookies….

Morrison had it right. When I think of my children and the idea that they could one day consider themselves grown and no longer consider themselves my babies, the impossibility of it borders on hilarity. I hope, at the very least, when they think they’re grown that I’ve provided with a good amount of whatever imspiration got them to “grown”–like my mom and her mother did.
I believe that my most divine designs and appreciation for well presented and delicious confections are rooted in the spectacular birthday parties of my youth. They’re cultivated by hours spent in the kitchen with my well-heeled Grandma and pruned by lessons in grace, glamour and hospitality from the perfect pout of my own red-lipped mama.

Two: because I firmly believe we know and love some of the most beautiful and sophisticated toddlers/ preschoolers around!
When we started putting together the design we immediately thought about a lot of the traditional soft pastels and chocolate bunnies but after considering the guestlist, we thought it warranted something with a bit more sparkle for our favorite Haute kids.
Brrrrr! It’s almost April and we’re still chilly ( but mostly chillin’) in the mid-Atlantic. Still looking for the lamb to round out March.
Luckily,cute party inspiration isn’t as hard to find. How adorable is this “Showers” theme for a baby shower?
